Welcome to MotiComic, a lightweight AI American comic creation application designed to help you transform photos from your camera or local gallery into stylized American comic artwork. This Privacy Policy explains how MotiComic handles information when you use our mobile application and related services. We have written this document in clear language so you can understand exactly what happens to your data and, equally important, what we deliberately choose not to collect.
MotiComic is built around a simple principle: you should be able to create comic-style art without creating an account, without signing in, and without surrendering unnecessary personal information. You may open and use MotiComic immediately. No registration, email verification, social login, or password is required to access core features. Your creative workflow stays on your device wherever possible, and we apply strict limits on what leaves your phone and why.
MotiComic operates exclusively on its self-developed proprietary AI service. We do not use third-party AI services for image generation, style processing, or any other creative function within the app. All AI-powered comic transformation requests are processed through infrastructure owned and controlled by the MotiComic development team.
We do not send user data to any third-party services. Your photos, prompts, style selections, and generation parameters are transmitted only to MotiComic’s own AI processing systems for the sole purpose of producing your requested comic artwork. We do not share, sell, rent, or license your content or personal information to advertisers, analytics brokers, data aggregators, or external AI platforms.
We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. Privacy is not an afterthought in MotiComic; it is a foundational design requirement that influences every feature we ship. We minimize data collection by default, store sensitive items locally when feasible, and avoid building profiles of who you are or what you look like.
We do not collect facial recognition data, biometric face templates, face geometry maps, or any information used to uniquely identify a person from facial features. Although you may choose to import or capture photos that contain faces, MotiComic does not extract, store, analyze, or retain facial biometric identifiers. We do not build face galleries, face embeddings, or identity-linked face databases. We do not use your images to train recognition models that identify individuals, and we do not perform automated facial profiling for marketing, surveillance, or authentication purposes.
Your privacy matters to us at every step. We do not request access to contacts, calendars, location history, health data, browsing history, or microphone recordings for comic generation. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use hidden identifiers to reconstruct your identity from device signals combined with facial imagery.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the MotiComic mobile application available on supported platforms, including anyone who downloads, installs, updates, or interacts with the app in any way. By continuing to use MotiComic, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the application and uninstall it from your device.
MotiComic is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, you must not use this application. If we become aware that a user under 18 has accessed the service, we will take appropriate steps to restrict further use.
MotiComic follows a data-minimization approach. We collect only what is necessary to deliver the comic creation experience you request. The categories below describe the limited types of information that may be involved when you use the app.
When you capture a photo with your device camera or select an image from your photo library, that image is used as input for AI-powered American comic style transformation. The image is compressed on your device to an appropriate size for processing, then sent securely to MotiComic’s self-developed proprietary AI service for generation. We use the image solely to produce the comic-style output you requested. We do not use your uploaded images for unrelated purposes such as advertising profiling, resale to third parties, or training external commercial AI models operated by other companies.
Generated artwork and your original source images, when saved through in-app features, are stored locally on your device within the app’s private storage area. MotiComic does not maintain a cloud gallery of your personal photos or creations unless you explicitly choose to export or share content through your device’s native share sheet or photo library.
Your selected comic style template, slider adjustments for line weight, color intensity, and texture, along with any optional text prompts you enter, are processed together with your image to customize the output. These parameters are transmitted to our proprietary AI pipeline as part of a single generation request. They are not used to build a persistent behavioral advertising profile and are not shared with third-party analytics or AI vendors because we do not send user data to any third-party services.

Permission prompts appear at the moment they are needed, with clear context about why access is requested. You may deny any permission; however, certain features will not function without the relevant access. Denying camera permission does not prevent you from using gallery import, and vice versa.
MotiComic stores certain non-personal operational data locally on your device, including:
This locally stored information remains on your device unless you delete the app, clear cache, or remove individual gallery items. We do not sync this data to external account servers because MotiComic does not require user accounts.
If you buy coin packs or subscribe to a MotiComic plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. MotiComic receives confirmation of successful transactions through Apple’s in-app purchase APIs, including product identifiers and receipt validation results, so we can credit coins or activate subscription benefits. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID password. Subscription status and renewal timing are determined according to Apple’s records and our local entitlement tracking.
During normal operation, minimal technical data such as app version, device model, operating system version, and anonymous error codes may be logged locally to help us diagnose crashes or generation failures. We do not combine this information with facial imagery or use it to identify you personally. Diagnostic logs are not sold or shared with third-party marketing platforms.

Protecting your privacy is central to everything we build. We regularly review our features to ensure we are not introducing unnecessary data collection as the product evolves.
All AI comic generation in MotiComic runs on infrastructure operated by the MotiComic team. When you tap generate, your compressed image and selected parameters travel over an encrypted connection to our servers, are processed by our proprietary models, and the resulting comic image is returned to your device. Processing typically occurs in real time and is scoped to the individual request you initiated.
Because MotiComic uses its self-developed proprietary AI service and does not use third-party AI services, your creative inputs never pass through external AI APIs, cloud inference partners, or subcontractor platforms. We maintain contractual and technical control over the full processing chain. Temporary copies of input data used during generation are retained only for the duration needed to complete the request and perform quality checks, after which they are deleted according to our internal retention schedule unless you have saved the output locally on your device.
We do not send user data to any third-party services for AI inference, content moderation outsourcing, or model improvement by external entities. Any automated content safeguards applied to uploads operate within our own controlled environment.
While using MotiComic, you agree not to upload, create, generate, or attempt to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates community standards. Specifically, you must not use the app to produce or distribute:
MotiComic reserves the right to refuse processing, block repeated abuse, or restrict access to generation features when we detect attempts to create prohibited content. Because we prioritize user privacy, moderation focuses on preventing misuse of the service rather than building invasive surveillance of your personal gallery.
Input images submitted for a generation session are retained on our servers only as long as necessary to complete processing, handle rare error recovery, and maintain service integrity. We do not indefinitely archive every photo you upload. Locally saved creations remain on your device until you delete them from the in-app gallery or uninstall the application. Coin balances stored in the keychain persist until reset by purchase logic or app removal. Privacy Policy acceptance flags remain until you reinstall the app or reset app data.
We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect information during transmission and while temporarily processed on our systems, including encrypted transport layers and access controls limited to authorized personnel responsible for maintaining the MotiComic AI service. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure; however, we continuously work to reduce risk and respond to emerging threats. Because sensitive balances and gallery metadata remain primarily on your device, you also play a role in security by keeping your device passcode or biometric lock enabled.

MotiComic is rated and intended for users aged 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or teenagers under 18. The app includes creative tools that may process user-provided imagery, and we believe responsible use requires adult judgment, particularly regarding portrait photography and sharing of generated content. Parents and guardians should ensure minors do not access the application.
MotiComic may be accessed from various regions. By using the app, you understand that information necessary to perform AI generation may be processed on servers located in jurisdictions where our proprietary infrastructure is hosted. Regardless of location, we apply the same core privacy principles described in this policy: minimal collection, no third-party AI sharing, and no facial biometric harvesting.
